Back to Joy: Announcing Soundstripe’s New Look and Mission

From the beginning, Soundstripe has focused on one mission: to keep creators creating.
We were founded by three musicians, and we’ve strived to make quality music accessible to everyone, while also supporting the artists who make that music.
We’ve been in the game for a few years now, and we’re excited to unveil our brand refresh, a new look and a recommitment to our mission to serve you, the creators.
Here’s what it looks like:
Creativity requires work, and when we ask creators why you do it, we consistently hear the word ‘joy.”
When Soundstripe started, the founders asked “how do we celebrate the joy of creating something?, and the answer was “let’s make the company pink!”
We want to celebrate the simple pleasure that comes from just making something. So we’re revealing PinkJoy as our primary brand color. The name says it all, really.

We even made a playlist filled with exuberant songs from our library:
Our purpose is to empower creators like you to thrive by making it easier for you to produce and monetize your creative work.
In short that means to keep creators creating. Here’s how we’re doing that:
We all want to stay in the zone, but even the smallest distractions can disrupt your flow.
Our library’s user experience is years in the making — literally, we’ve spent dozens of months optimizing how it looks and functions. Now our customers find and download songs in less than five minutes on average.
We're always working on new extensions to your favorite tools and platforms, like Premier Pro, Frame.io, and Twitch, so you can find the music you need as quickly as possible.
When it comes to our music, we’re all about quality over quantity. We don’t think it’s better to have 100,000 songs if 90% is filler that doesn’t get used.
That’s why we rely on real-time data and daily input from our customers to ensure our music truly matches what creators (you) want.
Plus, our songs go through seven layers of review before they make it through the library. Who’s reviewing them? Award-winning sound engineers and producers who we’ve hired to work inhouse.
It’s harder than ever to make a living making music, but we keep creators creating by enabling artists and musicians to make a living off their craft.
To date, we’ve paid out $7.5 million dollars to artists around the globe. We feel a responsibility to empower these artists by giving them full creative freedom and control to produce exceptional music.
Becoming a Soundstripe customer means supporting the artists who put their heart and soul into composing the music in our library.
So that’s it. New look, new playlist, same ol’ dedication to the creative community. We’re absolutely over the moon with how far we’ve come in the past few years. Everything we do is for you, the creative community.
We can’t see what you make this year, and we’d love to showcase your work, use hashtag #SMCreators to get featured. Keep creating.
